Pretty new things!

I was over the moon stars and sky when my bloggy friend Jessie, from Hello Beautiful, asked me to do a review of her new products. Some of you may remember how in love I was last year with the flower head band I received with the giveaway I won from Hello Beautiful. It really broke my heart when a certain little baby snapped the band... BUT! Now my heart is full again with a new head band and a lot more.

When I saw my little package in the mail, I couldn't wait to rip in and try on all the goodies inside. The packaging was adorable and classy.

I know that Jessie is capable of some very adorable products, but I did not think I would be so obsessed with everything she sent! It came with 3 pairs of studs, hummingbird danglers, sweet bird bracelet, a flower head band and a heart barrette.

All weekend, I have been basing all my outfits around my new goodies!

The studs are so easy to wear and I love the bright colors. Jessie uses surgical steel post so people who are allergic or sensitive to fake jewelry will not have any reaction to them! They are just perfect for spring and summer time. The barrette is so adorable and comfortable. I really love the soft pastel colors for this season.

As I am sure you can tell, the head band, the hummingbird earrings and the sweet bird necklaces are my favorites. Honestly, I have all three on as I am typing this right now.. haha. I'm in love! The headband is nice and tight with some stretch. It doesn't give me headaches nor does it wiggle around on my head. It's the perfect fit! And at four bucks, how could you turn it down?!

The earrings.. Oh these lovely hummingbird earrings. First of all, how perfectly perfect do they go with the theme of my blog! I am the free bird after all ;) They are simple but so elegant. I LOVE THEM! Nice and comfy and not too heavy on my ears. Unfortunately, Jessie is no longer selling these bad boys, but maybe if you guys demand them they can make a reappearance? No pressure, Jessie!

And lastly, my sweet  bird bracelet. It fits loose on my chubby wrist and is perfect to go with any outfit. It never gets in the way and it isn't heavy at all. Sadly, this is also a super special piece they her shop is no longer carrying.

I strongly suggest that you check out this etsy shop, so much cute stuff!
Thank you so very much for letting me review your products, Jessie! I seriously loved them all.

Got my specs fixed!

Thanks to my lovely mommy, I GOT MY GLASSES BACK! I missed them so much. It will take some time to get used to the large cat eye frames again. I keep them in a special place at night now so little baby hands can't come and attack. Speaking of baby.. look at those chubby cheeks! :D

Happy Friday!

Blossom Festival

On Saturday, we took a late trip over to the blossom festival in Oak Glen. We got there at about 2pm and had already missed all of the festivities :( We still scored on some yummy baked goods, candy and jam.

Bryce was getting super antsy, so we went out to the fields and let him run around while Jesse got some photos of the pretty flowers. After a few minutes, Bryce tripped while running away from me and got a booboo on that adorable little face. So, we packed everything up and headed home early.

It was such a beautiful family day.

New dress

Dress: Forever 21 Jacket: Old Navy Shoes: Shoe Dazzle

I bought this dress as my reward for losing 20 pounds and it was only $20. Twenty bucks for twenty pounds? Good deal. Now if I can only find someone willing to endorse my dollar a pound deal... I never shared my new favorite shoes from Shoe Dazzle! I loooove them! They are so comfy. If you aren't on Shoe Dazzle, you should be!

More photos from this day coming up soon!

Happy Monday, sweets!

Our anniversary

Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary as a married couple! This photo is one of the few that I have from the night we eloped. We also didn't take a camera on our adventures yesterday. We are not so good at capturing the memories...

It was still a blast though! We went to LA to see American Idiot. I've never been a huge Green Day fan, so I didn't know how much I'd like it. Honestly, It was more than amazing! The BEST musical I have ever seen. About half way through, I was crying like a baby. I'm also having my special time of the month, so I'm not sure if the play was extra emotional or my hormones were speaking... If you get the chance, you should go see the show, really!

After the show, we drove to China town and got bbq pork buns. They were so yummy and reminded me of San Fransisco :( We hadn't made any dinner plans, but luckily we were able to get last minute reservations at Benihanas. It was Jesse's first time, so I was pretty excited for him. The food was kind of so-so this time.

I had my heart set on getting a nutella and banana crepe (hormones speaking again) but we had to rush home to get our baby boop. We spent the rest of the night cuddled up watching The Big Four concert. Perfect way to end the perfect day.

Stylin!

These are just some photos from a few weeks ago. Bryce was looking pretty stylish and I promised his Meema I'd post these. So enjoy his cuteness, mom!

Oh..

This little guy right here is now 13 months old!
I know I probably say this every month, but I can't believe how big he is.
It was very cloudy and rainy this week, so Bry and I mostly stayed inside with our jammies on. We played Just Dance, hide and seek and I attempted to read my book to him. He is just not as interested in The Song of Ice and Fire saga as me. By the way, is anyone else obsessed with A Game of Thrones?

Happy Friday, lovelies!

Blue and denim

This is what I wore on Eater :)

I got this new jacket from Old Navy and I have been wearing it with everything. I'm a little sad though because it's a bit too big and I will (hopefully) have to retire it soon :(
I'm also super excited about this pretty blue skirt that I got from Forever 21. It's two sizes down from where I was in January. It is a little tight now, but by summer it should fit nicely.

Jacket: Old Navy
Shirt: Kohls
Shirt: Forever 21
Watch: Betsey Johnson
Shoes: Steve Madden

Egg hunting

Bryce was too cute running all around his Grandma Train's yard! At first, he was really excited to find the eggs, but after awhile he started the throw then around, crush them, and try to eat them whole... Haha. By the way! Doesn't his Meema dress her grand baby so well? Thanks, Meema<3

Happy Easter!

Hope your day was as fun as ours!
